Digital workplaces.
Devices, access and handover.
Consider digital workplaces, specialist equipment and collaboration as one system. Manage onboarding, role changes, mobile access, device replacement and offboarding in an orderly way.
Your people and daily operations come first.
A digital workplace extends beyond the PC. What matters is how people, business applications, devices, machines, tills, locations and external services work together every day. DAXS records the workflows needed and connects suitable components.
Process orders, reach people, use information and keep the business running.
Devices and mobile working
Notebook, desktop, CAD workstation, smartphone, scanner or suitable terminal: performance and usability follow the actual task.
Applications and data
Business software, databases, documents and shared resources must be available where work takes place.
Identities and access
Sign-in, multifactor authentication, roles and permissions connect people to the internal and external functions they need.
Communications and external services
Email, telephony, meetings and calendars; providers, suppliers, locations, external platforms and APIs with clearly defined connections.
Operational systems and specialist equipment
Depending on the business, this includes tills, payment and billing terminals, filling-station or branch systems, production machines, control systems and time recording.
Support and recovery options
Protection, documentation, device replacement and recovery support the environment throughout its lifecycle. Responsibilities remain clear.
Access follows the current role.
- 01Joining
Before the start date, agree the device, applications, licences and required approvals. Sign-in and important business functions are checked; the responsible person receives the necessary information.
- 02Changing roles
New tasks may require different applications or permissions. DAXS implements approved changes; access no longer needed is removed in coordination with the responsible contacts.
- 03Lost or faulty device
Access and devices are blocked or protected according to the agreed process. Replacement, the available data version and recovery are clarified so the next workplace becomes usable.
- 04Leaving
End access, account for devices and licences and hand over data in a controlled way. The business determines retention and deletion; DAXS implements those requirements technically.
A central workstation can be accessible on the move.
A CAD application or remote app can run centrally while people connect from a suitable device. DAXS tests the connection, usability, licensing conditions and secure sign-in against the actual workflow.
- Mobile deviceDisplay and input on a suitable endpoint.
- Secure sign-inIdentity, permissions and multifactor authentication as required.
- Tested connectionTest the access route, image quality and latency.
- Central business functionWorkstation, application and data on the platform.
- Usable resultThe required task can actually be completed.
An accessible illustration of one possible access route. Image quality and latency are tested in practice; suitability depends on the application and internet connection.

Working together
Email, documents, meetings, telephony and business software should work together without unnecessary friction. DAXS connects suitable tools and checks sharing permissions and external collaboration. Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and local applications are assessed against the workflow.
Licences and assignments
A role change or unused device can leave licences assigned incorrectly. Users, devices, software and licence terms are organised clearly. You see what is needed and which changes require a decision.
Implementation and support
A new application becomes useful when people can use it. We support implementation, document specific requirements and agree the support channel. During an incident, the task, symptoms and any available workaround take priority.
Standards help support. Tasks determine equipment.
An office workplace, a CAD workstation and a mobile device need different hardware. We check the performance, condition, security and manufacturer support of existing devices before replacing them.
An agreed standard keeps setup and support manageable. Exceptions are planned where a task actually requires them. Acceptance checks sign-in, business software, files and communications.
Provision a new workplace in an orderly way.
A new employee needs a device, sign-in, files and applications. DAXS can support this technical setup through an agreed process. The business approves the role and access; IT configures the required functions. The person tests their actual workflow.
Before the first working day
Required software, devices, existing licences and contacts are recorded. Access rights follow the role. Sign-in, multifactor authentication and device management are prepared; the person receives a clear introduction to the agreed functions.
Plan for changes and offboarding
A role change must not leave an unchecked accumulation of old permissions. When someone leaves, access, devices and the handover of business information are coordinated. Business approvals remain with the organisation; DAXS implements the agreed technical steps transparently.
View planning and acceptance points
- Record the role, working location and required applications.
- Check the device, accessories, available licences and provisioning date.
- Obtain access approval from the responsible person.
- Test sign-in, files, communications and business applications.
- Hand over instructions and an accessible support channel.
- Acceptance: confirm usability, the device inventory and outstanding tasks.
Example review framework. Scope and suitable evidence are agreed for your environment.
Questions about workplaces.
Does every workplace need the same hardware?
Can existing devices still be used?
Can a CAD workstation be located centrally?
How are new staff set up?
What happens when an employee leaves?
Can DAXS integrate existing telephone systems and cloud tools?
Prepare the next workplace change.
A new starter, a role change or a device replacement is enough to get started. We will organise devices, access and handover.
